The most scenic of bus routes that connects Nice to Menton.

Bus 100 is very famous for the route it takes along the Mediterranean coastline and stops at all major tourist spots on the Riviera. The view is unparalleled, but…wait…it is always crowded and you will be lucky to get a place to sit on most part of the journey and the traffic does not help either. A better option for public transport according to us is the train 🚆 with stops at nearing all main spots, it can take you to even Ventimiglia, Italy!!!

If you like to take multiple stops along the way a @vespa is useful too.

Whatever you choose to do, make sure you can enjoy more time doing things you like on the Riviera than ensure the entire checklist is ticked.

The advantage of bus no. 100 is that it drops you at a point approx 1 km from Castle Hill and the walk that entails, takes you past the Monument aux Morts, a memorial for Nice citizens martyred during WWI (pic in previous post)

Key updates
1. The ticket booklet that you got from the Nice airport (read post Takeoffs and Landings) will be good from Nice to Villefranche but not beyond, if you do not have it you can buy a ticket from the driver for 1.5 Euros pp.
2. Going from Nice to Menton, sit(or stand – more likely) on the right side for the best views
