A starting point for the famous Mont Blanc, Chamonix is known for skiing/hiking activities, definitely unconventional for tourists who do neither and much was evident from seeing others around.
But, we are glad we chose Chamonix over Annecy for our short trip for it has many things to do for non skiers/hikers and we had the best time of our vacation on this leg of our trip😊

1. A 3 hour road trip from Geneva, CH is the easiest way to get to Chamonix, FR (trains too connect)
2. Bus operators like ouibus or taxi services like Bla Bla cars are economical
3. 2 day trip is ideal
