What defines a holiday being successful?
Our flight to Geneva was a visual treat, for the view of the Alps from high above is majestic, it is like witnessing an endless sea of white pointy mountains resembling a celestial white acupuncture pressure pad!
What we did not enjoy however is it got delayed and we landed at 10.30am while our @ouisncf bus from Geneva airport to Chamonix was scheduled to depart at 10.45 am😐
The next bus was after 2 hrs and had we taken that, it would have been curtains by the time we reached, for activities close for the day quite early.
To top it all it was our first visit to Geneva airport and we did not know from where exactly did the bus depart😓
By the time we collected our luggage it was 10.45am already. Disappointed, we went to the tourist desk at the airport and informed the young lady of our situation.
What happened next, surprised us.
The lady told us she had just seen the ouibus driver go by 5 mins ago, and she came out from behind the cubicle and asked us to follow her while she sprinted full speed in her suit!!! With luggage in tow we ran for a good 100mts, to watch her flag the bus down.
We were short on time, but all excited. We profoundly thanked the young lady and got into the bus. The holiday later on turned out to be superb and for this trip, it was this young lady who defined its success!☺️
